SolvoTerra is Latin for Free Earth and that’s what we want to try and do Free the Earth for everybody to enjoy and cherish.
SolvoTerra has several goals as a website. Over time we want to develop a rich source of information, ideas and entertainment. As a source of information we will never sign information as SolvoTerra unless we have personally experienced or tried what is being discussed. Most of our website is open to public contribution, such as the photo galleries and travel section. The general public are free to submit tips and ideas regarding equipment and usage but we will only endorse and publish the information after we have tried it first. Travel stories, tips and information in the public travel section is to be used as threads in your tapestry, not every ones experiences and interpretations are the same.
Our primary mission is to provide accurate, first hand information and never to rely solely on information that we cannot divulge and discuss from personal experience.
Our second mission, though just as important as the first is to help aid the understanding and realisation of your potential and ability to enjoy travel. Weather you are career focused, a family person, a student, or simply need to see something of this world and don’t know where to start. Any one and every one is capable of “getting away” regardless of time and responsibilities. That is not to say we expect you to discard your responsibilities, of course not that would be silly.
SolvoTerra… It’s A New Day.
What do we mean by “It’s A New Day”? So many of us have heard or said,
“I just don’t have the time”
“I’ll sort it out next week”
“I’ll do it tomorrow”
“It’s impossible, can’t be done”.
We are simply saying today used to be tomorrow. Today, at some point was next week. We all look for key points in time to trigger events, well today is that day, it’s a new day. Seize it or indeed “Carpe Diem”.
Nike says “Just Do It”. We are saying pretty much the same thing, stop putting off until tomorrow what can be done today. After all:
“The biggest risk in life is taking no risks at all”
And
“It is better to regret something you have done then regret something you haven’t”.
